Well, looks like my first price rise may have to come into effect.
We are now carpeted, so the baa...r should really be a snug and you use to pay extra to go in there in my day....lol

Used to be a penny a pint extra in 'the lounge bar' when I was a lad :)

The one really old fashioned pub in the village had; lounge, tap and smoking, women were only allowed in the lounge if unaccompanied and the tap if they were with a bloke, they were most definitely not allowed in the smoking room!

Odd thing was, more women appeared to smoke back then than men..
