came home from a crap noisy saturday ( 1st of football season ! ) and had 30 mins peace and quiet in the bar..... 2 bottles of july 2012 brews some nice country music...bootiful....... great way to unwind



oh and put a couple of shelves up.
 
Visited glenn ( falaaal ) shed build today. Was very impressed with the excellent work he's done creating a fabulous bar and entertainment spot.

While there I relieved him of some optics for my little bar, a very nice Magners bar runner and some beer mats. Thanks Glenn

thanks....its not taken up too much money , basically an L shaped shelf. Making the space was the hardest part ! a few searches on e bay...the good help of folks on this forum....and Voila...your own little bar.
 
A sad day today....you get them occasionally.

Spent the morning shopping for some carpet tiles to lay behind the bar, and the afternoon got all sweaty and dirty laying them, Made a shelf for some glasses at the rear and refurbished my worktable/preparation table with white faced MDF.

So decided to call it a day and have a couple of pints, ( as you do ) Corny 1 ( Golden delicious) got half a pint and then that gurgle gurgle. empty corny. Quick drink, corny two Double Dragon....managed two inches of that, gurgle gurgle.... :eek:

I've got 3 brews still working in fermenters, but a combination of slow ferments and working on the bar now sees me without any draught beer......... :oops:

Oh well bottled beers it is for a couple of weeks.......Life is hard.
 
Well, looks like my first price rise may have to come into effect.
We are now carpeted, so the baa...r should really be a snug and you use to pay extra to go in there in my day....lol



Thanks to B&M having tiles on cheap at the right time ! The lighter ones at the front will be laid loose so I can move them out of the way on brew day......I usually spill something !
