This idea conjured up some interest some years ago. Those with commercial resources and lab facilities went away to test the idea, but haven't reported back so far. They've had more than enough time, IMO. I'm guessing that's because the idea was bollocks. But I'm always happy to be proved wrong.

The only aeration my wort gets is falling from the chiller into the fv. Nothing more. Never had an issue yet.

My aeration technique simply involves rolling the FV back and forth on the kitchen top.

It starts with this:

Honestly, I play this track every time I aerate my wort. It works. And it ends like this:

I had forgotten how good that is. Thank you! However, from now on you will forever remind me of Prince Charles. He talks to his plants, you play rock to your beer. I hope that's where the similarities end - Camilla is without a doubt Miss Fritton.....

Don't laugh (no, I don't have big ears), I'm considering a speaker for the fermentation fridge. I reckon the yeast are bikers. It's just a theory... but all theories should be tested. I've been playing Iron Maiden to my starters for a while now. They seem to like it...
