it was a fiercely contested decision with all scores falling within 10 marks of one another!

Thank you for sharing your wares and it was a really pleasure to see that some of the best beer in the country is made at home!

Congratulations! How do you feel about sharing your recipe? I put in a Schwartzbier (think it was OK 🤔), would like to see what could be improved.
Hi , no worries the link to the recipe is below. The caramunich and Carafa I capped the mash for the last 5 mins and sparged over the top.

Recipe below as promised:

German Pils

Batch Size - 25 litres
Water
20 litres Oakley Tap Water
20 litres Tesco Elmhurst English Mineral Water
Grains
4.83 kg Dingemans Pilsen - 3.0 EBC
0.31 kg Weyermann Acidulated - 3.5 EBC
Mash 75 min
Add 16.50 litres of water @ 72.2C (Step Temp 64.4C)
Sparge 24.50 litres of water @ 75.6C
Boil 60 min
41.0 g Tettnang (leaf) 60 min
31.0 g Saaz (pellets) 30 min
16.0 g Saaz (pellets) 15 min
Protofloc Tablet 15 min
Steep 10.0 g Saaz (pellets) 30 min @ 90C
Yeast
2 x pkgs SafLager West European Lager S-23
Ferment @ 12C for 14 days then reduce to 5C over 7 days
Bottle @ Carb 2.7 vols with 163g table sugar after 7 days
