It’s Lidl Belgian week for us - picked up a 6 pack variety box but looking at the strength they may all be too young for drinking immediately.

And here it is out of the fermenter and into the bottle. Sufficiently clear that there should be little sediment in the bottle. 7.1% ABV. It could have been a little stronger, but it'll do

Totally forgot that I have a beer of appropriate style I can enter already, so just signed up. I just need to remember not to drink it all before October.

I have provisionally entered by Patersbier but I may change this for another in the meantime as I have a few planned.

My Lidl box didn’t last as long as expected!

My favourites were:
Bornem Dubbel- if you search for this all comments seem quite negative, I loved it.
Piraat triple hop - wasn’t sure how the hoppiness would work in the context but it really did.
Gulden draak dark red triple - I don’t think you should sell a triple that is the same abv as your quad, I suppose there isn’t really enough clear ground between the Trappist labels. This one was great though whatever they are calling it.

Just checked mine again and still not showing. Perhaps @MartinHaworth would check to see if the payment arrived ok? It'd be a shame if I got purged for not paying.
