@MartinHaworth thanks for the yeast prezzie, much appreciated. Unfortunately the post service took offence to the letter - it looks like my yeast was well and truly spiked

Sorry to report Royal Mail didn’t like my letter either and charged me £1.50 to receive it, they consider 1 yeast sachet is over 5mm presumably?

@Caramel Ox sorry. I've had a couple of reports of this. I took 50 similar envelopes to the post office and the staff checked one and said it was fine too go as a standard letter. This inconsistency of handling is frustrating.

Mine came through fine (with the coaster). Can't remember what postage you put on it.
