so here's the plan for ag#2 - Im just wondering what folk think, ag#1 went ok but could have been better,
so i want this to be as smooth as it can. I want it to be at least 4.5%abv. Do I have enough grain planned?
3000g golden promise
1000g low colour crystal malt
thinking 90min at 66c
Followed by a combo of magnum (I like a bitter bitter) and marynka hops ( I hear they add good flavour and aroma)
was thinking 25g (aa7%ish) Marynkas as fwh (can i keep these in the bottom of the boiler in a grain bag to whip them out before the boil)
Then 90min with 50g of the magnums (would 60min be enough)?
Last 15min of the boil with another 25g of the marynkas.
At this point would it benefit from being rapidly chilled in the bath? I hear this may improve the final clarity, something about a cold break?
Would appreciate any comments. cheers in advance
