newbie question

Just started my second brew, a Blackrock Colonial Lager. Added everything to the FV and took an SG, it was only 1036 which seems low. Is it?

hI,never do kits but it does seem low to me,did you give everything a good mix/stir before adding yeast.?

yep well stired before the yeast went in, will check again tomorrow.

1036 isn't necessarily low. What ABV are you expecting?

That could still come out at 3.5%, which would make a nice session beer.
