Just joined the forum after finding it this after.
looking for a recipe and found it so thought I would join the 'Brewers droop sorry troup!
Back to brewing after a long 10 year break.
Lost all my djs in a major garage clearout so I made my own!
Went to supermakardo and bought a 5 ltr bottle of water for a couple of quid and used the water to make the wine. Then cut a hole in the plastic top big enough for the bung and airlock and it works FINE and dandy!
Got a box of pineapples cheap so I froze some and juiced the rest for a gallon of wine.
Also got a glut of grapefruit so juiced them and made a gallon of grapefruit too.
Got a 2 ltr bottle of vimto today for £2 from Morrisons so I did another gallon with another water bottle.
Have made Birch-sap wine from one of the trees in the garden a few years ago and was really surprised with the quality and clarity.
