Hi All!

Thought I'd write a small introduction to myself as a new member. I'm a complete novice to the art of home brewing. In fact, I'm literally starting my first brew today Sunday 17th Feb using a basic 5% ABV cider kit. Hopefully this will be a relatively simple start towards learning the art. I am also interested in learning to use dried elderflowers etc to produce some nice summer tastes in future. Happy Days!

Hi Mick! It's a wilko cider kit called simply 'Apple Cider' and is supposed to be medium/dry. Makes 40 pints and cost £14 not sure if you can buy on-line but thought I'd start with this as seems simple enough!
