Hi all,

I've not home brewed for at least 15 years but I'm going to start again. My usual tipple is premium lager so I'll apologise in advance for any offence that may cause!!

I'm looking to get started at the weekend with a Muntons Gold continental pilsner but will happily consider any other recommendations as I'll probably brew 1 kit a week to get going.

My local shop is Harvey's in Fareham (4u2brew) and they seemed very helpful. Are there any other shops or outlets for kits in Hampshire?

Hi & welcome to the forum!

The better brew lagers are highly thought of on here, I am on the 2nd of their IPA kits & rate them very highly, taste great with little/no conditioning :)

I'm considering their Czech Pilsner and Export Lager products as my next experiments but my local shop doesn't stock them and I'm keen to get started this weekend!

I'll probably invest in a couple of bins with the aim of having 2 brews on the go much of the time. It's just a question of getting through the next month or so with not much to show for my efforts so something that doesn't need much conditioning will probably feature quite highly in my list...!!

Chris
