Big smile.

Granted the majority will be going in the boil and dry hopping but.

What's the best method of storing without vacuum bags or CO2

Also do leaf, pellets and whole hops need different levels of storing

I keep mine in the freezer. You will of course in time need a dedicated freezer.

i don't have any space in the freezer so i keep them in air tight jars, second best i suppose

Aslong as you keep them in the Dark, hops is bags will get light struck just as beer does in clear bottles.

Can you treat pellets and leafs just same. just found out my friend is giving me some of his hops mix of around 5KG!! [FLUSHED FACE]

Over the course of the year i have taken over a freezer drawer, SWMBO wasn't happy

I think when you open the pellets it is best to use them up quick compared to the leaf. But I store both in the freezer

I've been banned from the freezer so I bought a vac sealer. Keeping the packs in the dark as well they stay fresh.

I got banned from the freezer compartment of the fridge freezer in the garage so I bought her a big new upright freezer. Now the fridge freezer is all mine :)

I filled our freezer, and within a week (after some "encouragement" from SWMBO) bought a second hand one off gumtree.

Have a lovely selection now! Plus it's great for overflow when making stock etc!
