Hi everyone,
Just introducing myself, I'm new to the Forum and new to home brewing.
On Saturday I started my first ever fermentation of a Woodfordes Beer Kit. Sunday evening and the fermentation bubbles started :) really exciting. Bit of a dome on the tub lid Monday morning but the bubbler seems to be doing it's job. Gawd knows what'd happen if I hadn't added the bubbler as the fermentation tub came without a vent and had a sealed lid !!!!!?
The house is old and cold, so the fermenter has a heat belt and all wrapped up in its own duvet with a black bin bag over the top to keep the light out. Forgot to record the SG before adding yeast, it's a learning curve !
Already picking up lots of tips from here and think I've found a new hobby, beer, wine, compounding ........
Cheers
