Landlord.
A couple of weeks off work, a trip to High Wycombe to see bionicmonkey and a lot of head scratching later it was definitely time to upgrade the old plastic buckets and start down the slippery shiny slope...
As I am useless at working with metal it was going to have to be a wooden construction, the benefit of 2 pumps meant I didn't have to go to a tower so sat down with a brewing buddy and we planned what we needed.
A bench for the new boiler and mashtun, a space for the 10 gallon burco we spotted outside a local junkshop for £25, a cupboard that we could fit a tube heater and the ATC-800 up to, built in ventilation, new electrics and a couple of shelves for storage... we also considered plumbing but that maybe the next stage..
We then built it and ended up with something resembling a welsh dresser
But with electrickery..
Kegged a brew on the weekend - 2 more from the old brewery to get into kegs and bottles this week and then it's time to fire up the new set up. Everything has been tested and works :thumb: , just needs some empty FVs
