It's only been in a hour and just went and had a peek and its got lumps floating on top. Look like bread when feeding the ducks is that normal

It has a clear lid So I can peek. I have the new coopers fv with the extra collar.

Calm down Joes, the ferment differs with each brew m8,sometimes the Krausen looks like Mr Whippy dumped his left overs in your fv & others it is like a bubble bath, sometimes it crawls out like an alien foam & crawls towards you  whatever it does let it do it & you will soon be enjoying a pint of Normal Brew :drink:  Ken.

Foaming away nicely now. For a bi bulshenif head on it bout 6 inches high in the middles. Not even 24 hours yet

The more you brew the more you will worry less and leave them alone to get on with it.
My first brew I was tending it like a new born baby, my last three apart from temp checks I've not given them another thought.
All will be we'll and despite what errors you make, the likely hood is that what you've brewed will be as good if not better than the stuff you buy from the supermarket.

After a brew day on Saturday my wife came in from the annexe where I brew and panicked saying there were lumps of caulifower floating in my brew :D :D I had to re-assure her that it was the yeast multiplying etc etc next day it had calmed down and had rissen to the top, so the lesson learnt here is don't let the wife near a brew :nah:
