The nice man over at http://barclayperkins.blogspot.com/ has published a new book about Edwardian Beer Styles called 1909

You should buy this book because:

1. If he earns lots of money he may buy the beer when I see him next month  .
2. It's pretty good book with loads of data about old beers.
3. You will be supporting private enterprise. Or at least vanity publishing.
4. It's a book about British beer styles written by a Briton. Oh hang on a minute...the co-author is actually american (but his name is England so that's not too bad) and the other author is British but lives in the Netherlands. Hmm...this isn't my strongest argument is it?

Oh well, buy the book anyway. Its very good. Honest.

To be fair, I read that blog and it's fascinating. Ronald puts a lot of work goes into researching old brewery records. Might even treat myself to a copy. I got lent a copy of the "Peace" book and it was very good.
