I recently subscribed and have watched quite a few movies but not many series i know there is another thread about series on TV but i was hoping to keep this one for Netflix users.

I recently finished watching dedicated survivor and i would recommend it, trailer below.

Just watched the first three episodes. I wasn't expecting much and I'm amazed it's so good. Every episode I say, well that was good, but where can they take it from here? Watching the next episode tonight.

Love Netflix some high points in no particular order:-

Ozark
Better Call Saul
The Mind of Aaron Hernandez
Stranger Things
Queen of the South
Money Heist
Lupin
Orphan Black
The Sinner
Mind hunter
Narcos

Just watched the trailer looks awesome

did enjoy stranger things and the haunting of hill house rather.
a couple of their sci-fi series have shown promise in the first series but seem not to get taken on to produce a second.
i'll admit to not getting value for money from their service. i think my tastes are just too niche. i keep it going as some stuff i like appears every year.
May I refer you to HotUKDeals, if you're not familiar with them, it's a deal/bargain posting website. Eg Asda selling hobnobs for 50p till Sunday. There is a thread that discusses the merits and methods of signing upto subscriptions through other countries. It's not illegal, it is against their terms but I'd imagine they're unlikely to cancel your account.
Apologies if you're already aware of this.

Ozark - it’s brilliant and there’s another season arriving very soon.

The Queen’s Gambit is the best thing I’ve seen this year.

Must watch
Breaking bad
Orange is the new black
Stanger things
QA
Haunting of hill house
Queens gambit
Narcos

Worth a watch
Dark
Ozark
You
Mindhunter
American horror stories
Bridgerton
Unorthodox
Sense 8
White lines

Wow great response to the OP, i think i have the next couple of years viewing sorted. :laugh8:

Good thread. Rarely watch tv and never have much time for binge type viewing so tend to forget about Netflix but will be giving some of these a go.

Some pretty worth while viewing on netflix, how can any one justify paying £175 tv licence for the crap bbc show I will never know.

It really is about time the bbc got with the times and either went with subscription or adverts for revenue.Tv licence, what a joke!
edit, the Witcher is worth a watch, even more so if you have played the pc game.

In the "if you didn;t already see them on BBC or ITV" category:

Unforgotten
Giri/Hagi
The Last Kingdom

Inside the worlds toughest prisons is a very good series. Well worth a watch

This thread has given me a few options to watch next, thanks. We’ve just finished watching “Behind Her Eyes” on Netflix. Anyone else sen that?
I was really disappointed with that.

The first 4 episodes were very good, looking like one of these psychological thrillers and I was quite enjoying it. Then it went really weird for the last 2 episodes.

Yeah we watched "Behind Her Eyes". Without giving out spoilers, for me it lost most of it's appeal once we found out how Adele knew what everyone was doing. Still, at only 6 episodes, it was a decent enough watch.

@LesTom recommended "Money Heist". We've seen season 1&2 and really enjoyed it. Will probably wait a while before starting the next season.

Colony (under rated sci fi)
Unbreakable Kimmy Scimdt
Lost in Space (re make of the 60s series)
Episodes (Great bbc comedy)
The Dark Adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch (surprisingly fun)
Breaking Bad (genius series)
The Good place (Brilliant comedy)
Schitts Creek (Brilliant comedy)
Brooklyn 99 (Brilliant comedy)
Mystery Science Theatre 3000 (genius comedy)
Umbrella academy (weird superhero shenanigans)

Glory, a movie set during the US Civil War is also on it and worth a watch .

Queens Gambit
