My first stout

Well this is my first time doing a stout so i just lobbed a bottle in. I only used that syrup as i got it cheap from work. Alot of people use treacle in stout i would think the stuff you put in coffee would be ok too

am trying this out for chock stout:

3.25kg Maris Otter
500g Carafa Special III Malt
500g Oats
475g Brown malt
250g Crystal 400
240g Wheat
500g Lactose sugar
26g Magnum hops
44g fuggles
1 bag of cacao nibs

The end result. Definitely not disappointed with this 1 il be re brewing this for sure maybe up the darker malts or something
