hello,

as i was finishing my brew, i put everything in the jug and as i was fastening the cloth ontop, my kitten jumped in, dragging the cloth and string with him.

Is my beer still going to be ok, or is it better to just throw it away and start again?

rather than throw it away ... id just continue with it anyway m8 and see if it goes ok ... prob find it will be fine :thumb:

I shouldn't laugh......but I did :D
If it was me I'd chuck it... there's nothing sanitary about our cat!

How is the kitten  ?

Like GA I would be tempted to give it a boil for 10 minutes allow it to cool, pitch yeast and continue. otherwise it's destined for the drain I'm afraid

Maybe you should call it John Smiths, ie. cats piss.

I was thinking along these lines myself, .....................how long was the kitten in there? Did it get out many times to go for a p-- s ?
Not funny really, , it will either do it again or it won't, :? if you see what I mean.
Never even had a Springer jump in a brew, they wouldn't get out for a p--s, drink the lot and then jump out into the next one, more like

Well, proper scrumpy isn't proper scrumpy witout a dead mouse, or preferably rat, in it, so I don't see it should be a big problem.

Oh how I laughed......shouldn't but I did ...........It sounded quite catastrophic :hmm: What sort of kit was it...tabby...ginger... Siamese :P

Good luck anyway
