Recently I brewed a dark mild, it's was ready just in time for Christmas, so that was two weeks carbing in bottles, then two weeks conditioning in the cool. It was amazing, the coffee flavour and aroma from the black malt was lovely. Now after almost three weeks in the cold of the shed the flavour has all but disappeared, I brought it back in for a couple of hours to warm up a bit before drinking. I have no idea why this would be, it just tastes a bit bland.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to why? perhaps it's the cold?
