I think that i've done my last brew for 2008 now (no time to fit another in) so I thought I'd note down the 5 brews i've not yet done and I'd most like to do in 2009

In no particular order:

1. Oatmeal Stout
2. Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale Clone
3. Russian Imperial Stout (No Sparge - as per Oblivious recent post) and make a mild from what's left
4. AT's beer with Nelson Sauvin hops
5. A Durden Park Recipe

What's your "must brew's" for 2009?

I'm going to try and get one brew in over Christmas . . . possibly an Adnams Southwold Bitter Clone.

For 2009

Adnams Tally Ho From The Durden Park Book
A 'Quaffing' Stout with Pacific Gem sticklebract and possibly Centennial, A Nice Blackberry taste
A Durden Park Porter . . . not sure which but its likely to be 1/3 Pale, 1/3 Amber and 1/3 Brown . . . meaning that I'll need to add enzymes to get conversion. . . . For Brewers Contact
A Nelson Sauvin Blonde Ale
Simmonds Bitter :hmm:
Ushers Stout
A good few lagers

I must get the femto brewery built for some of these

1 Oatmeal Stout
2 A Durden Parker
3 Something with an ignorant amount of hops :D
4 Whatever takes my fancy the night before a brewday while i'm ****** up ;)
5 Lots of Nelson Sauvin brews, mainly Fools Gold :D

Loads more Shelob
As many DP recipe's that i can
An oatmeal stout
A brown Ale
More DP recipe's
More ATWEZ Ale
More 1420
A lager
A real cider
More Orc Slayer

Stuff i'm not going to brew next year:

Anything below 5%
Super hoppy pale ales-done loads this year and not that impressed with them
Anything with chocolate or sugar in

I'm going to try to fit one more vagabond ale in this year, a 2.5 gallon batch that will use up the munich malt extract I have and leftover trappist ale yeast.

Next year I want to brew...

Original IPA, to be squirreled away
another SNPA clone
some brown porter (maybe another Monkey Knife Fight)
Hefeweizen (never successfully done before!)
Mississippi Bedwetter (very light pale ale) for my grandfather

I'm gunna keep brewing my house regulars:

TaRd Stout
Smokeydokey Rauchbier
Hedgehog Bitter
Wasp Stinger

and in addition when my Femto brewery is sorted i'll be experimenting with:
Belgian beers
English stouts
traditional IPA's/DP's

if i can afford a press, i'll also be making cider from the apple trees in the garden

and if i sort out a temp controlled fermenter i'll have a go at a lager or two as it's been a while since i drunk it so i want to see if i can better the rats **** in the shops.

new brews that i want to do

Pineapple wine
Brewstews Turbocider
A Californian Shiraz kit as recommended by crE
Elderberry wine
I always want to do a Silver Birch or Sycamore sap wine 'next year' but always fail so ... next year!
