as above really its been in the keg for 3 weeks but it is not a nice golden colour like i would ecpect but it is a yellowish colour
tastes ok but not great
any ideas please

All I can say is that as it's a kit it's probably manufactured to be that colour?
Is it totally clear? If there is any yeast left in suspension it will cause the beer to look darker.

sampled mine yeasterday and its failed its rank my first homebrew to go pete tong

just for info I've just dumped a Muntons gold pilsner on the compost heap - it's the first failure since starting in November and have already done 2 M G kits without a hitch - fermentation just stopped and agitation, new yeast and raising temp didn't help, have to try again next week I guess

cheers
steve

I tried one of the muntons gold pilsner is tasted **** which i was suprised because i enjoyed the other kits they produce with the exception of the autumn blush that was proper awful !
Go for AG its not as expensive as you probably think :thumb:
All you need is a 30ltr FV couple of cheapo kettles to butcher the elements out of fiver each,a abll valve tap roughly another fiver and a mash tun of some sort cool box from asda seven quid or I used a FV and insulated it jobs a good un
Then just your grains !!!!!
