Just put on my flagship west coast IPA.
looks a quality kit. 3 lots of hops a hop filter bag 2x cans LME and 1kg of brewing sugar.
Decided to brew it long as I’m not in the need for a 7% beer during the summer. Added an extra 2l of bottled water and brought the OG down from 1072-1058. Should bring it down to around 6% if my calculations are correct.
Almost used verdant yeast as well, as I have some in the fridge. Decided to stick with the US 05 that was supplied. May do it again with the verdant at a later date.
10days to dry hop day and another week before bottling.
