Hi

My first post as I am new to the brewing game.

I am just on day 10 of fermentation of my Diablo IPA, my original gravity was approx 1.043, I tested it on Sunday and again today and its stayed at 1.010.

I think from what I have read it wont get any lower than 1.008, what are peoples thoughts on bottling now? the instructions did say fermentation should be 10 days.

It is only a 9l brew so once I have bottled this I plan on going for the Geordie Larger which i was bought for Xmas.

Thanks in advance.
Terry

I would bottle now - the key to me is that the SG has not moved in 2 days

Thats what I thought, but read that others leave their brews in for weeks at a time, but I assume this is dependant on the brew and specifically if its been made from scratch rather than a beer kit.

Will bottle up tonight athumb..

Leaving brews for weeks at a time is usual once bottled and waiting for it to condition
