But surely the to and from's have the intelligence that the EU wasn't going to make it easy? Don't they.
Leave side said that we held all the cards. Sunlit uplands from day 1

A major problem is that Cameron refused to call out the leave side for their claims as it would have meant calling fellow tories liars, and rule 1 is the conservative party is who they pay allegiance to, not the country.

I came across this, the word ‘Tory’, commonly used to refer to a member of the UK Conservative Party, comes from the Irish Gaelic word ‘tóraidhe’ meaning outlaw or robber.

Read their manifestos at the time, no mention of a referendum. As I said, the referendum was held to please the swivel eyed loons in the Tory party who had already brought down one of their leaders for not supporting leaving the EU.
I’m no EU fan boy, there’s a lot wrong with it, but would never vote to leave under a deal negotiated by the Tories, you know it’s going to turn into a race to the bottom **** show of deregulation and maximum profit extraction at the expense of people who earn their money by providing labour.
Again speculation! Once again each party had ample time to put forward their views, how much clearer would you want it! If the deal was done under a Labour government that would be Ok ?

So what is your point? You want the UK to speak Gaelic?

I thought I did. You made a statement that Tory means liar. Does that mean there are no liars in the Labour party?

Point 3, which you decided to refer to as a statement though I made it clear (I came across this...) that it was a quote from elsewhere.

But the labour party stated their views they wanted to remain, as did Cameron. The people had been given the pro's and con's and voted leave. Didn't they have 2 years to get their points across?

It has, and if it doesn't stand up for itself copping all the flak for leaving.,
Lies are difficult, if not impossible, to counter when talking about the future!!

A lot of the voting public that believed the lies and voted “Leave” are now regretting their decision and labelled “remoaners”.

Luckily, we have managed to oust one of the main liars out of office and (hopefully) the rest will follow at the next election!

Problem is most people are incapable of formulating their own view point. Parental guidance has a lot to answer for, my parents were one eyed (which ever party) so I must be the same.

Shouldn't be about who lied and who didn't. A vote was taken and everyone should get behind the majority, not complain and whinge because the vote didn't go their way. That is weakening your position. The EU see that and it gives them the confidence they need to grind you into the ground. No one has mentioned how the Tories are bringing down the national debt, will Labour, or will they be borrowing and making the UK the new Greece?

But so do yours. Your views are set in stone. I was once further left than you could imagine. What did it do for me? Zilch. I came to the conclusion that there is only one person I can rely on to get the best outcome for me and my family and guess what it was me.
AHH the classic 'I used to be left but then I grew up' scenario. One of my friends told me the same story and said one day it'll happen to me too.

The only people who lose money are those who strike, we would still have a car making industry but red robbo and his croneys sorted that out, he for one gave thatcher the idea of crushing the unions
That is so “Pro-Maggie” that it’s laughable!

The statement “…, we would still have a car making industry …” missed out the words that encapsulated what was really happening. The phrase should have read “…, we would still have a mismanaged car making industry …”!

Everything from the design to the build to the non-existent “after-sales service” was run by a management team who were not up to the job.

The title “Red Robbo” was given to Derek Robinson by the right-wing media, but they managed to leave out a crucial offer he made prior to talks!

We would agree with compulsory redundancy for one section at British Leyland, that is management, like Stokes and Barber.

Sheer mismanagement is responsible for the mess we are in at British Leyland.

We would wholeheartedly endorse the removal of British Leyland top management and their replacement by competent people.”

He was subsequently proved correct and the phrase “Lions lead by donkeys!” was never more appropriate!

Again speculation!
No, read their manifesto of the time. It’s not speculation, there would have been no referendum to leave the EU if Labour won the 2010 GE. Two main reasons,
1; Their party isn’t full of Eurosceptic tax dodgers
2; The workers of our country would not have suffered the unnecessary Tory austerity/state shrinking ideology with the EU being made the scapegoat. Therefore no groundswell of opinion that a referendum is needed.

the to and from's are towel throwers, everything has to go their way or they spit the dummy. What happened to the resolve of the of the UK? It shows in the commonwealth games, what happend, it is like they just can't be bothered in achievements anymore. Near enough is good enough.
I am sorry.
What does this mean?
Is it Gaelic?

If the Labour party was so good how come they never got voted in?

What actually needs to happen here in the UK is nationalisation of all public utilities and services. That way they can all start actually working for the benefit of UK economy and not putting money into the pockets of shareholders. In this scenario there is no need for a rich tax or any windfall taxes as it's all public property and automatically goes back to us anyway.

Unfortunately I don't believe any political party is up to the task at the moment, so we're all screwed.

And how will you fund this venture?
