I love it when you start to feel that nip in the air!

Took this pic on thursday morning this week when I was out with my dogs in the morning - that's the Ochil Hills in the distance, and the entire Forth Valley under a very low blanket of cloud while the sun was shining on us

Nice pic

I like winter - slow cooked casseroles and a strong ale or two :thumb:

Nice photo!

Thats some beautiful country you have north of the wall.

Winter - coal fires, dry skin, unctious stews, and getting very cold when washing up after a brewday!

Cheating a bit as this was earlier this year, but this pic is what I love about life.

A crisp morning walk with your best friend, a little toil with the soil at the allotment, some jobs around the house and then a warming meal and a fire to warm you and the dog back up!

Earlier this year eh?

19th Dec 2009 - all it seems to do is snow - the day after this I wrote my Mondeo off in the bloody snow

1st Feb - snow hasn't melted at all in the last month - in fact we just kept getting more!

27th Feb - No sign of snow abating - dogs don't seem all that impressed either

And isn’t it so much easier to keep your brew warm than to try and cool it!

Summer :? Have we had one this year ??????? ;)

I love every season, each one has something special - at the moment I love the darkening mornings and the leaves turning from green to brown. I love the sound of the conkers and acorns crushed under my feet as I walk to work. The kids are starting to think towards christmas... winter is such a 'cosy' time. Doesn't beat spring though :D

Up here every season is perfect.
Summer never gets too warm.
Winter stays mild thanks to the Gulf Stream, we had hardly any snow disruption last year.

Only real issue here is the equinox/equinix, the gales do get a bit of a pain.
Gales and severe gales are not too bad but when the get to Storm or worse I find it a bit loud!

I know what you mean I used to live on the west coast of scotland in a 'mobile home' . When the westerly equinox storms hit it felt like the caravan was moving, mind you more of a worry was the scots pine wood it was in had a habit of losing trees   . Luckily one never fell on the caravan.

Long winter nights 6 miles from civilization was enough to turn a man to drink :drunk: :drunk:.
