Mixed fruit ?

I have way too many purple plums for a five gallon run and not enough peachs for five. So what about ten pounds of peach and ten pounds of plums? One more do you think 16 lbs of fresh black berrys is enough for five? Thanks Mike

Sorry i cant help with the plum or peach as i have never made them, but i think you will be stretching the blackberries a bit far. I did mie with 6lb's of blackberries per gallon last year and the wine is lovely with plenty of flavour. So id limit the water to 3 gallons.

I usually use at least 3lbs of fruit per gallon for wine water ever the mix is. :thumb:

So 16 would be fine for 3 bs a gallon for one recipie and only hald enough for the other?? Mike

I was planning to make plum wine, but an early windfall has blown most off my pluns (un-ripe) off my tree. :hmm:
