Mix the yeast in or just pour?

Hi guys.

Right its day 9 and as I said never saw a single bubble so cant go of that re readiness. And Im not confident of the graviety reading being correct.

I basically want to start another batch so want to siphon this lot into second fv and leave so if it isnt quite finished then it wont be a problem???

Plan is, (if you guys give me the go ahead) is to have it in the 2nd fv for at least another week at 16-17c before priming and bottling.

Sounds a reasonable plan, it is unlikely to be ready yet if it has been at less than 20C.

However I would choose to leave it where it is and put the second brew in the second FV unless there a good reason not to. If you do move it then do it gently and try not to mix any oxygen into it.

Thsnks for the reply windy!

Main reason was because Im expecting sediment at the bottom? and want to lessen the chance of getting it into the bottles when the time comes.

Other than this I dont have a reason. Any thoughts?
