Jake Paul won't let anyone knock him out, it's in his contracts (or it was in earlier ones).

I was hoping that Tyson would put an end to this ridiculous influencer boxing thing. They fleece their followers into paying for a ppv, thinking they are watching genuine sport.

Only problem with that is you put someone like Tyson in the ring, for all he has a contract instinct can take over

Apparently it's now classed as an exhibition match
Back in the early 60s in Los Angeles the announcer for championship wrestling always started the tv show this way: "These wrestling exhibitions are sanctioned by the state of California".

He has to say that to promote it. He's not likely to say "it's an exhibition fight and he won't let me punch him" otherwise no one will pay for the ppv. It's all about the grift with the Paul brothers

You know its a joke when they use insta followers in the stats

I think Tyson will knock him out if he can get close in the first few rounds after that his age may catch up, can Paul keep away and wear him down or will Paul go from it from the start?

Many will belittle what could be seen as a spectacle, but this pretty high stakes stuff.

It's bringing the sport of boxing to a huge number of new people - which is a good thing if it's a good fight. If it's a poor one sided show, it will turn them all off forever.
And for Jake Paul this is make or break. As a 27 yo with ambition to be a ranked professional boxer (and he is pretty skilled with a massive right hammer blow), it will either give him some celebrity status in boxing and open up ranked fights with promoters if he wins, or it will ruin him losing to a 59 yo 'has been' - even if that 'has been' is Tyson.
Tyson is absolutely committed to this fight and he's in incredible shape. It's actually worth watching the 3 part netflix docu-series, really digs in to his fighting style and training regime, especially in the last episode. Monster of a bloke, absolute natural born killer
I'm really looking forward to watching it, especially the Katie Taylor versus Amanda Serrano rematch

I can't stand boxing, any combat/blood sports in fact, make me feel a little sick.

Buuuut...

Jake Paul Vs Mike Tyson...seriously?...Jake Paul is a hipster doofus, a dandy fop of the modern era, Tyson will annihilate him in moments.

Even as an old fella, not a shadow of his former self, Tyson is a formidable chap, Paul is a pretender at best.

@Druss you say that without having watched him fight.
He's fought some skilled opponents including a couple of pretty good professional boxers and 2 extremely talented multi world champion UFC/MMA fighters and made it look easy.
Whilst he may have made his fame and fortune as a dubious YouTube click bait whore, that does not necessarily define the man behind the persona. He's doing it in his own unique way, that's for sure, but why not?
