Theresa May always argued against Brexit until she saw an opportunity for power; what a hypocrite. She was certainly tenacious but I don't think history will judge her kindly. Boris is a buffoon, I hope he loses a leadership election. I would have liked Ken Clarke as PM. But I don't vote Tory.

I think nearly all politicians are immoral sociopaths; all three main parties underlying philosophy logically and morally flawed thus the resulting state is therefore a force for harm rather than good, and detest nearly all authority. Corbyn is not my favourite but i think he would do a decent job as PM Andrew Burnham would be my first choice, Boris is bound to give us a few laughs if he gets it.

She leapt at power, and gleefully took on the poison chalice job left by Cameron. So the £150K a year salary plus the other perks that tot up to 2million a year will have softened the blow. Also upon leaving office there's a ongoing public duty costs package that ex-pm's can take worth £148,500 per year indefinitely. turns out John Major's been raking that for 20 years!

I don't think whoever follows here will be any better. Boris Johnson acts the buffoon, but he's not. I know people who have dealt with him, and he's not stupid at all. What he is, is egocentric... and looking out for himself and no one else. He would happily burn the UK on the fire if he thought it best for himself.

As others have said, Boris isnt stupid. What he is, is lazy. He doesn't 'do details' and has single handedly lost Londoners and the country millions of pounds (Garden bridge, water cannons, etc). Many of his Tory colleagues absolutely detest him, but they're afraid of Farage and the Brexit party so may support him to become leader. If he becomes PM, I think he will a) cause the the Tory party to split b) cock up brexit even worse than May has done so far (if you can believe that it possible - which I believe it is)

May took up the poisoned chalice of delivering Brexit, which almost all the evil politicians despised. It interfered with their own aspirations for power, wealth and total control of a servile and dependent electorate.

We now stand on the trap-door to the hopelessness of communism, which delivers nothing beyond a brief period of euphoric revenge, followed by inevitable economic collapse, poverty, hunger and starvation. The rest of the world will not believe the lies of this repeatedly failed ideology ever again.

She deserves to be gone, she was always a 'remainer' and all this crap from her over the last 3 years was just stalling for time and avoiding Brexit as it was voted for. I don't care who takes over so long as we get out ASAP with none of this 'deal' crapola.

Hmmm.. I'm not so sure. As far as I can see, Trump is a total charlatan. Also, not really very intelligent - a one-trick pony ("everyone who challenges me is FAKE or CORRUPT. Ignore them or lock them up!" Surely this repetitive diatribe is going to wear thin at some stage. It did with May ("Brexit means Brexit" "Strong and Stable").
But Johnson is in a different category altogether. As far as I can see he is both very well educated, and very intelligent (OK he tries to mask the latter, but I think that is for effect). As far as I can see, the big difference between Johnson and any other ranking UK politician before him is that he has absolute zero regard for truth or morality. Personally, I despise May. Not so much for her handling of Brexit, which was clearly a disaster. More for her other record. The "Go Home" displays. The "Hostile Environment", giving a "come-on" to racism. Hiding from the Grenfell Tower disaster - when any proper leader would have been out there to meet the survivors. Windrush. Total crap about "Injustices" in our society, then keeping on with austerity policies and a social security system that prefers to victimise rather than help the unfortunate and vulnerable in our society.
But Johnson, in my opinion, is in a totally different league. May might have had principles, however misguided. My guess is that Johnson has none whatsoever, other than to promote the ego of B. Johnson.
As far as I can see, there is now a huge danger of Johnson teaming up with his doppelganger, the equally odious and egregious Farage. In which case England will be even more stuffed. (Hopefully not Scotland - faced with even worse Horror Politics in Westminster, I assume we'll be independent quite soon!)
