mashing the night before

does anybody mash on 1 day and the boil on the next?
this would be so much easier timewise for me as i work most saturdays and brewing takes most of my sunday.
mashing on saturday, boiling sunday morning means i could be finished and cleaned away before dinner,anyone do it?

Read about it before, works a treat and improves efficiency, but you need a well insulated tun to really make it worthwhile.

i know what you mean but i was thinking of mashing for between 1 1/2 to 2 hours and then into a sealed fv and then leaving till the next morning to boil it

Yeah i done this yesterday and today , the only thing is boiling the wort from cold ... this takes more time and uses more in electric .
