I'm not big on common sense - yes the bin next to the the tun is a sensible suggestion.

I got my bag from these guys http://brewinabag.co.uk/en/12-biab-bags. They aren't as cheap as the cheapest ones out there but the mesh is the perfect size for brewing and they are super strong. I don't regret my purchase at all.

I would have to measure my internal dimensions as they are all built for round tuns.. mines oblong and big. On the face of it i would need the biggest bag @ £50!

You can buy the braid on its own - Fleabay!
If your SWMBO is OK with the sewing machine, buy the fabric and get a custom fitted bag made.
Even better - on some forums I've seen suggestions to simply drape the fabric into the tun and gather up the loose ends when it's time to lift it out. This may require some practice, however!
