So it looks like it's four for each which makes it easy, let me know if I've made any glaring omissions.

@Alastair70, @Caramel Ox @Agentgonzo and @SMP Brewery swapping wits

@Stu's Brews, @pilgrimhudd, @Hazelwood Brewery and potentially @Nottsbeer swapping bitter.

The wit swappers just need to post to the other three. Likewise if @Nottsbeer is in the bitter swappers just send to each other and everyone gets three beers. If not, we can come up with a plan B. Aim to post over the weekend or early next week. I'll open a review thread and announce the NZ Pale Ale swap next week.

Sorry everyone, I'm going to have to skip this one. Just bottled my beer and I think it's infected....tastes a little acidic with no bitterness at all. Am gutted as I've not had a problem with infections so far. When I opened the FV the top didn't look as it normally does, had more than usual floating stuff. That didn't look like an infection but was odd. Just tastes not right. Went through the motion of bottling in case im wrong, but just clutching at straws really. Wil have to think about throwing the FV (?). May give everything a blast with VWP as well. Enjoy the swap, at least my Imperial Stout is conditioning well 🍻🍻

@pilgrimhudd and @Hazelwood Brewery - I have both your addresses from previous swaps (shout if you've moved!) so I'll get bottles into the post for you on Friday. I think you've both got my address as well but let me know if you haven't.

Kegging my NZ Pale this evening as I've been a bit keen for the next swap!

Hi Stu! You have my address from last year’s August comp but I don’t believe I have yours. Would you kindly PM it.

Ta!

What sort of yeast would be suitable for a NZ Pale?

Thinking of Five from CML
That would work.

Also,

PIA. Kiwi Pale Ale Yeast.

Suitable to brew pale ales with a good hop profile.
Attenuation: 73-75%

Flocculation: Good
Fermentation: ideally 15-22°C (59-72°F)
Max ABV 9% in 20 litres - Pitching Rate: 50g/100 litres
INGREDIENTS:Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), emulsifier E491

Not sure what’s going on with my NZ Pale, just checked on it, took about 24hrs to get going but now @1.001 😳 unless it’s stuck under the hop bag or something.
