"Can you make a beer that tastes of maltesers?", she asked.
I figured I'd pass this one on to you guys, since I am on my 4th kit atm and only looking uncertainly at the giant 70L pot and wondering about BIAB...
Any thoughts (bearing in mind I can only do BIAB, or technically BITS)
Cheers all :-)

would have to be a stout or porter, maybe one hop addition at start of boils then dry malteaserd and a malteaser added as a priming sugar! there is a malteaser hot choc type drink it is rank tho!

he hee...yep baffle them with science...

I cringe at some of the flavour suggestions for Beer on here....

Beer is BEER

not flavoured alcohol.....

Chocolate stout with a late addition of horlicks, perhaps a not of lactose aswell. Not saying it will be nice but that's how to make it

when is a beer not a beer? when its a cock ale!

something big and malty like a bock, doppelbock? or maybe a barley wine?

Or just a malty mild / brown ale?

You can easily make a malty beer but it won't taste like a malteser because fundimentaly beer is bitter and a malteser is eh...... Sweet.

As the cast of Grange Hill told Zammo back in the 80's……

Just Say No.
