Malt extract taste and tone

I'll be trying a Muntons Connoisseur's Bock Bier for my next brew and wondered how a Munton Spraymalt Dark or Roasted barley would affect the flavour and colour?

i've no experience with the kit itself, but dark spraymalt and roasted barley will add more of a smokey coffee charcoaly flavour to your beer.

dark spraymalt is mostly light malt, same as regular spraymalt, but it's designed for use in dark beers, so feel free to replace some sugar in the kit with it!
