Are ther any problems from fermenting at lower temps with an ale yeast other than it maybe sticking?
Im thinking temps in the region of 15c to 17c.

The reason i ask is i brewed my Wherry at these temps (it got down to 1014) and wondered if it could have caused problems with flavours either off or just strange, or anything else?

At lower temps you won't get as much esters production so a bitter won't be as fruity but probably more malty. :thumb:

It did ferment at around 19c to 20c initially for the first 4 days or so as i kept a check on the temp but then dropped to around 16c to 17c for thr emainder of the 14 days.

So it won't give me headaches or have a tang to it (etc) ?
