After the heat wave last year I'm working on stocking up on summer ales. A lot of my brews last summer were fermenting quite high, some at 28c!! but still turned out drinkable, not fantastic though. Is anyone else planning on bulk brewing in case we have another hot summer?

Yes, I started in October, making a stock of beers. Golden ale, IPA and a fair few darker ales. Around 300 bottles full now in crates, planning to nab around 10 crates worth of bottles more and I will be happy I have enough to see me through until the weather cools again. it

Just bottled a batch of Vienna lager, so it's guaranteed to be a stinker of a summer.....!

Yep,I'm working on it. A beer fridge will be in the list when I get my garage rewired. I'm thinking of a tall larder type that I can get my pb in.

We're getting the kitchen done so I have commandeered the old fridge for conversion to a brew-fridge. It'll come in handy as said kitchen work has meant brewing's gone on hold and I've no stock of my own left - have the next 5 brews planned and am aiming for a weekly brew once the house is habitable again.

I've got a bottle of old ale brewed with Kviek as a result of a bottle swap. I'm planning to culture up the yeast to brew through the heat of the summer athumb..
