I've just by chance had to go under the table where my cider is maturing in its keg, which was racked on Sunday night. I found a floor wet with cider and a slow but steady drip from the tap. The tap was obviously turned fully to the "off" position. However, it seems that moving it slightly back so its perpendicular to the outlet stops the leak (does that make sense). Was i being dumb or am i right for assuming that turning the tap fully off would be better than having to pull the tap back a little from the full off position? I must have lost a good 1/2 pint to this drip. Not too happy right now.
