What i would like to know is can i bottle it now and do i need to prime the bottles (2 litre pet ) and how much sugar.
The stout was primed when put into the barrel but do i need to ad more to each indvidual bottle ?
thanks

Never actually bottled from this stage, but I would think its ok to do, and if it were me I'd not add any more sugar if it's just been a week. ( someone else will likely come along who has done this though so I'd wait a bit).

However, I do have a rarely used budget barrel that leaks from the tap when the pressure gets too high, as that gives way before the PRV. I used to just partially unscrew the cap and let some gas out and then keep an eye on it as it only dripped quite slow. Just released the gas a little every week for the first few weeks. Once I was drinking it, it tended to be ok.

Just not sure if your leak is pressure related though or a constant leak?

To my mind it would be best if you primed your bottles.
As you've already previously primed in the keg I would only use 1 tsp per 2 ltr bottle.

Have you tried rolling the barrel onto its back so the tap is above the liquid level, unscrew the tap, check washer (if its not split smear both sides of the washer with vaseline), also a couple of turns of plumbers tape on the screw threads then refit. Takes about 3 mins to do.

On the cheaper barrel taps you can pop the tap from its socket and vaseline that too.

Don't over tighten the taps, its a common mistake and causes problems.
