i need to buy some yeast and did not no if there is a lager yeast i can use or if it does not matter... cheers
 
Saflager S23 is available from most retailers

Barley Bottom Stocks that, S-189 (Hurrlimans) and W34/70 (Weihenstephan IIRC) . . . Got to say that of the three my personal preference is for W34/70 . . . produces a cracking pilsner if you can keep the temperature below 12C (Ideally), under 15C it's still excellent
 
thanks ill give it a try .... on another note will i be able to ferment in my fridge at 6c

That would be all right for conditioning but would be a little bit cold for a primary Lager fermentation. Better to keep in the 11-15 Deg range.

As a Rule I pitch at 13 and ferment at 15 deg C.
