With Covid stopping everything the competition timetable has been quite up in the air up until very recently.

Hereā€™s the ones to looks out for off the top of my head:

January - Scottish National
February - UK National
March - LAB Lager than Life
April - Reading Amateur Brewers - Sour and Session*
NAWB conference (entry in person only)
May - LAB Open
July - Anglian Craft Brewers competition
August - GBBF(?)
October - Brew Con(?)
Norwich Hoptober*
November - Heart of England

* may not be annual

All except GBBF and NAWB are BJCP competitions
Also Reading will be doing Spruce Rising in August

Well thatā€™s odd. My entries are marked ā€œreceivedā€ but they were only collected by the postman about an hour ago šŸ¤”
It's a quirk of the software that we have to mark entries as received in order to be able to arrange the entries into tables.

Entries will be unpacked on Friday and judged on Sunday.

Finally managed to find a box for my bottles. Got my husband to post them for me today, hopefully they arrive in one piece!

JockyBrewer, will you be live streaming the results?

Looks like my beer was delivered. From the picture, it doesn't look like they gave a **** about about the arrows and the 'This way up' all over the package. So helpful to my bottle conditioned beers! :roll:Hopefully all settles back down in a few days. Oh well , the perils of not living anywhere where I can drop off beer to actually be delivered in person to a competition!

Itā€™s frustrating isnā€™t it. I doubt there will be many crystal clear bottle conditioned ones.

The beers are being unpacked on Friday and will sit upright in a cold store until judging on Sunday, so they should be ok in the end.

Anyway, my bottles didnā€™t even survive the journey. Having to get new replacements up there.

I'm a bit OCD and I like a nicely packaged parcel. I made a nice handle out of packing tape so that whomever moves it had an easy way to lift and shift and keep it upright, as well as the suggested "Fragile - This way up" note.

That said, it's entirely possible someone also used it as a rugby ball in the sorting office.

In my heart of hearts, I know that when it left here it was crystal clear. wink...
