Hi Everyone,
So buoyed by the success of Homebrew 2, Homebrew 3 is underway. As it's allegedly summer I thought I'd try something a bit lighter so I've gone for Cooper's Lager this time. The twist with this one is that to give it that Mexican flavour and smell, I've added Lime zest in the fermentation and will add lime juice to the secondary.
Anyway, the reason I'm posting is that I thought that I'd give finings a go this time. I haven't used them before but from what I've read they should give the beer a bit more fizz which would be good for a summer beer. Fermenting is pretty much done so just added them in. Any thoughts on timings or even if it's worth adding?
Cheers!
