Hello,
So I've made a quick red wine with welchs's purple grape juice. At first I'd thought it had gone wrong as it tasted different to normal (not a great advert  )
But people who have tryed it say its ok? but lacking something?
It's a bit thin for want of a technical/wine term, and maybe a bit sharp...
...Is there anything I can add now or is it too late because the wine is finished. Or is it finished, Will it improve over a year?
I've heard of some people sweetning with sweetex etc..?

It's likely lacking tannin. Dunno if you can do much about that now, you could try stirring some in I spoze.
The sharpness will age out, if it's not excessive.
Glycerin might help the thinness.
But any messing about with it carries oxidation risks. Stick it away for a couple of months and then try it again, it might be great.

I recently added tannin to a wine after it fermented. I mixed it with a bit of boiled (and cooled) water first so there where no lumps and then added it to the wine. It will probably do with maturing a little though as tannin will drop out of suspension.
