Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc

Hey guys,
Just come home from France,
I had a Beer called kronenbourg Blanc. It was absolutely phenomenal ! I’ve searched the web, can’t get in the uk anymore. My question is. Does anybody know how to brew it, or something close to it ? Or even buy it from somewhere?

BeersofEurope probably have it, or somewhere like Beerhawk or Beerwulf perhaps?

It’s been a while since I’ve had it but is a French Multinational take on a Witbier IIRC so if there’s any info online about the hops and any spice additions it should be fairly straightforward to make something similar-ish.

Thank you ! I’ve just checked those sites, and there is no Blanc unfortunately. Any ideas of anywhere else to go ?

It used to be sold in bottles in the UK about 10 years back and was then withdrawn for some reason. I loved it. It's basically a Belgian Wit so find a solid recipe that includes the Orange Peel and Coriander and take it from there.

Used to be one of my favourite beers. Like you say you can’t get it over in the uk any more.

Did find bottles on it in Carefour on a recent trip to Disneyland Paris, some of which I did bring back, but sadly now all drank.

Is it not just a Hoegaarden type wit beer, just buy some of that or look out for a recipe.

That drink really brings back memories. The last place I saw it was in a supermarket in Menton (not a million miles from Monaco). I tried finding a clone for it a number of years ago when I first started out brewing (about 8 years ago) but was unsuccessful.

Your best bet is to brew a whit and add some scored oranges to the boil and fermenter, I add coriander seed to mine too which makes an excellent beer.

Im in france this second on a bea h drinking it. Cracking. Ive had a few attwmots at making it but none have been any good. Corriander and apricot if i rember correct. I have also found leffe royal , a thick ipa with cascade hops. Looling foward to that making its way over

Europafoodxb.com I just bought some. It's my favourite too. Had it for the first time visiting Londen years ago and it was on tap at a pub in Camden Lock

Just jumped on that site and they only seem to sell the alcohol free version
