Guys. My next brew will be a Kolsch (partial mash). Just looking at the yeast calculator and wondering what to set it at i.e. Ale / Lager / Hybrid? Theoretically, it could be any of those.
Like drunkula alludes to, it depends on what temp you plan on fermenting at. Lagers need twice as much yeast (because of the cold fermentation), whereas ales need much less yeast to get the job done
