Kegland red carb cap - gas only?

Morning all

Just got a couple of these Kegland Carb caps from Get 'Er Brewed
Site says they should fit liquid or gas but black disconnect won't go on (grey is fine).

Known issue? Is that what the yellow ones are for? FWIW the one supplied looks slightly different to the pic on the site.

Top tip: the black stem coming out is 1/4" so you can go to a hose with a straight coupler as shown.

…must be you . I often have issues with the beer disconnect being difficult to fit a SS post but not the plastic. I suggest taking the pin out of the black disconnect (if you haven’t already) to confirm the body fits ok. If that’s ok it’s the pin probably a shade too long and bottoming out. I had that with a Spundy once.

Aha! Thanks @Buffers brewery ... emboldened by your suggestion I checked the dimensions and it DID fit... but tighter than a duck's doodah

A bit of the old Buffalo spray has fixed it - thanks

the cheap chinese knock off qd's often have tolerance issues

was it a knockoff or a kegland QD

and what in the world is buffalo spray - we dont got that here.

edit nvm i just saw the bottom of the pic where it says food grade lube. in the US we call buffalo spray methane.
