Kegerator-Corni-beer,gas fittings help AGAIN!

Hi all,
here we go once again!
ive built one and now my memory has evaded me again.
theres some things I know, some ive forgot...so please be gentle lol.
just to put you in the picture this the donor kegerator thingy.
and thinking a two tap tower in the middle or just offset (TBC)
two 19l cornies inside...gas tank outside.
the thing is, more I delve in again what fitting what length etc I'm getting confused...even up to the beer line up to the taps in the tower.
So if I can give some sample of what I'm looking at as far as the setup, maybe some can correct me or say "Aye that's right!" lol
list so far ignore the prices, they could be cheaper else where:

-Pair-of-Cornelius-Ball-Lock-Disconnect-With-John-Guest-Keg-Corny £12.95 (think that's right)

John-Guest-3-8 to 3-16-Reducer £3.95 EACH (think that's right)

3-8"Beer-Line Clear 6' £3.65 (how much length I don't know yet)

3-16" beer line £2.90 (don't know the length to use yet)

3-8"Gas-Grey £3.90 (don't know the length yet)

Double-2-Tap-Stainless-Steel-Tower £48.58 (confuse with the beer line with it)

now......I know the best way is to reduce the beer...so no foaming!
but I'm confused to put this all together? and any suggestions or things I've missed.
obviously pictures or links can help.
if I take a guess, it'll be like this.
from the cornies:
ball connects with 3/8" beer line (don't know the length yet) gas line (length not yet)
along the beer line put a reducer in......put the 3/16" hose on (length don't know yet)
and eventually fitted to a tap with a shank (this sizes n dimensions bit confusing holes drilled through the collar)
basically too much sizes etc..5/16" this ..3/8" that...and somebody saying the best is 3/16" another's says totally different.....bad nuff re-learning to read n write let alone fractions, imperial US length blah blah...
HOPE WHAT COFUSING WITH ALL THIS, you can understand and shed a light to help mt battered brain lol.

No worries Bri, the pics n links you include complete the picture..

All looking good, that looks like a complete enough list.. BUT.. that tap tower?? 120 cm of 10mm tube??

those US/EU style 'perlick?' taps are generally terminated at the beerline end with a hosebarb? Might be worth an email/call to the seller asking for suggestions to tie up to standard 3/8" or 3/16" line? it may be a 10mm soft tube ?? or it may be a typo in the add where someone measured the 3/8" line with a metric measure and rounded up the 9.6mm or so that 3/8" is equivalent to. Or it may be a chinese knock off with dodgy nonstandard connections??
My experience is limited to dalex style taps/fonts (ex -pub types..) however so i am not much of an authority on this style of tap..

Any tower font needs to be servicable, and give access to the tap/beerline connection however..


No need to buy any 3/8" clear beer line as the 3/8" grey gas line is just as good, And it looks like you will only need a few inches of 3/8" beerline to connect to the pressure reducing 3/16" of which you will probably need 4-6ft of between each keg and tap..


A tower font is an easy lid fix, just be mindful of leaving space behind the freezer when opening so you dont bang the font into the wall

One further thing worth mentioning a freezer isnt designed to come into contact with liquid water, and has no internal waterproof skin So if you get any condensation it will pool and if there are any seams, or dings in the base insulation the water can seep into the closed foam insulation where it can feed anerobic microlife and go manky ;( SO JUST leave a towel in the bottom of the freezer to absorb any condensation and check/exchange it every now and again depending on need

Use these stem reducers instead of the ones you are using and they fit directly into the corny disconnects, meaning you will not need any 3/8 line on the beer side.

slowly making sence!! so its 3/16" line that need to longer!! get it now....
how much gas line? and I could snip few inches for 3/8" (beer line) to the reducer...is this correct.

btw m8,
your and my old 3 tier system is out of moth balls again....my pal up Scotland is slowly getting grips on using it!!!
remember how long you've had to re-learn calculation, dead space etc...hahaha!
so 2 hrs me trying to explain how the deadspace, losses come together......hope it sink in...coz after that I got info overload lol.
as I saud to him...itll be note, after notes to get the system perfect...trial n error...as long as his volumes and SG readings are ok...the rest is tinkering.
wonder what he'll ask next??? hes loving it..

Hallow all,
A really old one.
Thinking going back to couple o 19l corni.
As my is as much as a fart in a thunderstorm, could clarify the fittings (sizes again)
Im happy we the 3/8" to 1/4" FFL john guest quick disconnects...gas line & beer line ( ?)
As i aim this time just a party tap from the corni-in the fridge.
so do the same again ref. reducing the 3/8" to 3/16".
then my heed goes pete tong!!
sizes n links of parts be great....again lol.
I got it eventually but skill fade crept in.
Any links for one o them party taps be great aswell.
