As i mentioned. Fridge was free. Kegs were reconditioned £98. Ive got the lines. Taps and gas bottle ( gas bottle full. also free) Taps £28 for 2 long shank taps. Regulator twin gauge £24 and disconnects £9 for all 4. Taps discon and reg all from Aliexpress. Just waiting for the arrival of the discons and regulator in the next week or 2. In time for the first fill. 👍

how did you decide on faucet shank size? I wouldn't want it to be in the way and bang against the keg when I shut the fridge door?

i went for 80 or 100mm shanks. If they are too long i will mount them thru this mdf laminated strip i got from the b and q offcut bin free. theres enough top space not to strike the keg. i will mount and drill tomorrow. pic to follow...

@Perrin_Abara Twin gauge gas reg arrived this morning from China. Bargain at £23 incl delivery and the W thing gas bottle adapter nut. ive seen those on their own going for 15quid!
Ive seen the regulators exactly the same as this selling forup to over 60quid.
Just waiting now for the 4 disconnects i ordered.

I got the brand new SS gas bottle from freecycle. nil cost. still boxed.

Just fitted the taps. Didnt need the baton across the front to bring the shanks forward. 90mm shanks fit just right.
Pleased with todays efforts.
Straight barbs could have been better but theres just enough space for the lines to bend without fracture.
