Hi. I have a question regarding storage. I will soon have 20 litres of English IPA ready to package. So was wondering if i keg the beer into a corny and blast with 40 PSI to seal the lid how long would the beer keep if kept cool. I don't have the room in my fridge at the moment. Could I keep the keg in a cool place until space becomes available in the fridge and then carb as normal.

Kept in a cool place will be fine for many months, however a blast of 40psi will be pretty close to 0psi by the next day as the beer will have absorbed it. Its best to keep a bit of pressure inside to prevent air getting in, can you not leave the CO2 connected at about 10psi for a week to fully carb it, then you can disconnect it and leave it

I will leave it for a week on gas. I get what your saying about the initial blast at 40 PSI being absorb into the beer.
