Keg conditioning and bottling

OK I'm conditioning my Nelsons revenge in the keg, I have added the sugar for the carbing, my question is, if after it clears I want to bottle some, will it keep its Co2 from the keg conditioning, or should I add some more sugar to the bottles, or should I have just bottle conditioned it.

I dont really want it flat in the bottles.

you cant really do that once its kegged its kegged i would have thought. Re priming a bottle and putting some in from the tap did not work for us we tried it with a lager we made :thumb:

Commercial breweries provide cask conditioned ales in bottles, and bottle conditioned ales in bottles... There must be a technique??
 
I've tried it. just transferred some straight from the tap into some sanitised bottles and capped straight away, in theory it should hold it's gas. Probably best to chill first to allow more CO2 to dissolve in the brew. Biggest problem will be frothing when filling so you have to do it slowly so its not fun to do too many bottles.
 
the commercial outfits use a counter pressure system to keep the pressure in the beer bottle when botteling.. you should get away with botteling from your keg within a day or two of kegging, any later than that i would add some priming sugar to the bottle 2. thing is tho bottle conditioning which is what you doing may take longer than cask conditioning so your kegged beer will be ready before the bottles..
